Bordeaux Events And More SAS is a business tourism operator with two main activities: the hosting of events, under the “Beam Venues” brand, whose skills are applied to its customers, and the production of events, both professional and for the general public.  

The purpose of this Privacy policy is to inform you of the principles that govern all processing linked to the use of personal data within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended.

1. What type of data does Bordeaux Events And More collect?

Bordeaux Events And More collects the following categories of data as part of its contractual relations with its customers, whether professionals or consumers:

Identification data :  

  • for individuals: surname, first name, postal and e-mail address, telephone number,
  • for companies: SIREN, business sector and number of employees, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address,

Invoicing and payment data,

Usage data: participation as an exhibitor or visitor to trade shows, as a customer of Beam Venues' site management services, or as a user of the various websites owned by Bordeaux Events And More. For example, in connection with the job offers we make, we may keep your CVs containing details of your training, professional experience or hobbies. 

2. For what purposes does Bordeaux Events And More use your data?

Bordeaux Events And More uses the data it collects for the purposes of executing the contracts it enters into with its customers: event ticketing, space rental or trade show participation contracts, and for its own business.  

This data is kept for the time required to manage the contract and/or the legal period. The personal data collected is exclusively intended for use by data processors and subcontractors, in the context of the provision of services necessary for the performance of contracts.

Apart from these cases, personal data is also collected on the basis of your consent, for example when you submit a resume, fill in a contact form, subscribe to an e-mail alert, or participate in accounts managed by Bordeaux Events And More on social networks.  

Bordeaux Events And More may also use this data when it has a legitimate interest in doing so, in order to improve the service provided to exhibitors, visitors and customers of the facilities it manages, for canvassing, loyalty-building, survey or promotional purposes. 

3. How can you access, correct or delete your personal data, or exercise your rights?

In the event of a complaint to which Bordeaux Events And More has not given you a satisfactory response, you may contact the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (French Data Protection Authority), which is responsible for ensuring compliance with obligations relating to personal data.

You also have the right to define directives concerning the fate of your personal data after your death. 

4. How long is the data kept?  

Your personal data is kept for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.  

Your personal data may also be kept for a longer period in order to comply with specific legal obligations or to comply with applicable legal statutes of limitation, and, where applicable, for the duration of legal proceedings and until all legal remedies have been exhausted. 

5. What security measures does Bordeaux Events And More take?  

Bordeaux Events And More takes all necessary steps to protect the personal data it processes. This data is processed in such a way that its security, protection and confidentiality are ensured in relation to its degree of sensitivity, in order to prevent loss, theft, use, disclosure or unauthorized modification.
